- Big Joe: Big Joe... Big Joe.... Big Joe... they don't call him Big Joe for nothing! He is a BIG HELP because he's committed to drama club and he always tries to come and help in his spare time. He is the person who helps build sets and props that you see in this theatre and in our performances. He puts a lot of detail into the projects he works on. He taught some of us how to sew so that when our costume rips or tears we know how to make the perfect hem. Which makes it even harder to forget about him and all the things he's done.
- Charlie Rice: If you heard about Charlie Rice then you know she is our costume designer, BUT what you don't know is how hard she works and how many hours she puts in to the drama club. In fact if it wasn't for her we wouldn't be wearing the wonderful costumes that we wear today, because with every play we do, she always makes new set of costumes for the many drama students we have. She's a beautiful woman who puts in a LOT of her time and money into drama, and we appreciate her more and more with every stitch.
- Mrs. Wagner: Mrs. Wagner, through her love of the actors and techies of the program, has given so much of her time, help, and assistance to the drama program. Students thank her constantly for the pizza and drinks she brings for Saturday rehearsals, for the rides she provides to rehearsals and San Diego Junior Theater classes. The drama club loves you.
- Josh Cruz: Josh has been the Lilac's councilor, driver, acting coach, friend, and blah for three years. He's helped some our alumnus learn to drive, picked up students from late night rehearsals, listened to actors and techies that struggled at home or with friends, and helped with all of our major productions. Now Josh is at UC Santa Barbara studying film. He is deeply missed by all of the members of the Lilac.
- Mrs. Cruz: Mrs. Cruz has been driving students to rehearsals and acting classes for the past six months. She has become a stage mother, listening to students and helping them with their problems. She never tires of taking our actors all over San Diego.
- Vernetta: This amazing dance instructor came into the lives of the thespians four years ago. Now she trains fifteen of our actors in ballet and tap every week. She has also choreographed the musicals Peter Pan, Oliver, and now Cinderella. She expects nothing but the best from our students and it for that very reason that we love her.
- Bonnie Reed: Bonnie has donated money for student scholarships at the San Diego Junior Theater. Bonnie has helped us several times and her kindness has aided a number of our students in both acting classes and performances.
- David Sparks: David volunteered to take over the web site last season and get it back up and running. He put hundreds of hours and his own money into updating and perfecting the site. It is because of his kind work that we can now create the Lilac 2.0.
Thank you, David!
